Rory McLeod

When: Friday 14 July
Where:
An ex-circus clown and fire eater Rory is a one-man-soul-band and poet with a natural troubadour's talent for weaving magical, musical, storytelling spells accompanied by his own bizarre solo orchestra of distinctive instruments
Spoons, finger-cymbals, bandorea, djembe-drum, harmonica, guitar, trombone and-tap-dancing shoes are all likely to get an airing during any of Rory's captivating gigs and it's no wonder he's won heaps of awards including "Busker of the Year" at Edinburgh festival, "Best Live Act" at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and, yes really, the Texas Harmonica Championships. Charming, invigorating and totally enthralling we're delighted that Rory is finally making it to Rhythmtree.

“Rory McLeod …so original it's nigh impossible to compare him with anyone else…An awe inspiring live performer who writes quite brilliant songs." - fRoots Magazine
